Always set for the last Wednesday in May, National Senior Health & Fitness Day highlights the activities of older adults participating in health and fitness activities through throughout the nation.
National Senior Citizen’s Day

International Day for Older Persons
International Day for Older Persons is observed on October 1st. International Day for Older Persons responds to the challenges the aging population face and an effort to develop an accommodating society for people of all ages.
National Grandparent’s Day
Marian McQuade, a West Virginia housewife, established National Grandparent’s Day. This celebration takes place annually during the first Sunday after Labor Day. The day is set aside to encourage families and community members to visit their elders.
Older Americans Month
Older Americans Month is held each May to honor older adults and their contributions, particularly those who defended our country.
National Family Caregivers Month
